Whatever lies ahead, the Polo has got you covered
No challenge too big
Bigger and better than ever before, the charismatic new Polo is designed to meet the challenges of the modern world.
Advanced safety features like standard Pedestrian Detection and Front Assist with City Emergency Braking minimise your risk of an accident while the optional Adaptive Cruise Control takes the stress out of long drives.
Lighting the way
When it comes to lighting the way, the new Polo’s optional LED headlights and daytime running lights shine bright. With a long life and creating a colour similar to daylight, they improve visibility for you in adverse weather – and even better, they’re energy saving.
Not so small, but just as tough
Sometimes bigger is better. That’s why the new Polo is longer, wider, and has an increased wheel base. The result? Even more headroom and legroom for driver and passengers alike.
An impressive 351 litres boot capacity means that not only is there space for all your shopping - you can also pack everything you need to head off on your next adventure.
Better than eyes in the back of your head
Helping you react to whatever’s going on around you, the optional Blind Spot Detection sensor provides a handy LED display in your wing mirror whenever a vehicle enters your blind spot.
And for when you’re done driving and are ready to park, the optional Rear View Camera displays what’s behind the new Polo on your dashboard Infotainment screen. It also overlays guidelines onto the image, allowing you to easily judge your distance from obstacles.
A helping hand when you need it most
Taking the stress out of unexpected situations, the new Polo keeps you safer than ever before. If the Front Assist detects a possible collision, it lets you know with an acoustic and visual warning and prepares the car for emergency braking. If you don’t react, City Emergency Braking steps in to slow the car down, with the aim of fully avoiding a collision or reducing its impact.
Take the scenic route
As well as helping you to avoid congestion using live traffic data, you can use the Discover Navigation system with a Car-Net Guide & Inform package to discover new restaurants, attractions, and more. So the next time you’re free on a sunny Sunday, why not hop in the car and see where the road takes you?
Busy motorway traffic means you constantly have to react to other drivers. The new Polo makes your life a little easier: at the touch of a button, the optional Adaptive Cruise Control uses a radar to sense your distance from the vehicle ahead. The system automatically brakes or accelerates to make sure you stay the same distance from the vehicle in front - it can even bring your car to a complete stop with the addition of the optional DSG dual clutch gearbox.
Looks as good as it sounds
With a gorgeous 20.3 cm (8 inch) touchscreen with glass display, the Composition Media system is a delight to use – simply touch the screen, just like your phone. Featuring an SD card slot and playback for MP3 and WMA files, the six rich-sounding speakers will be music to your ears.
The Composition Media system includes a Bluetooth phone system for popular mobile phone models and also features a USB connection.
